Fresh of the back of the announcement that she’ll be playing The Great Escape’s First Fifty, Naaz has just dropped her quirky new single ‘Up To Something’. When you look at what she's achieved so far there's little wonder there's such a buzz around her: Naaz's Spotify numbers have already surpassed the 6.5 million mark, and with tracks as confident as ‘Up To Something’, Naaz is fast becoming one to watch. Accompanied by a colourful video showing Naaz sitting in a bed of flowers and running carefree around a deserted school, ‘Up To Something’ is a bold statement from the 19-year-old. Explaining the track’s cryptic title, Naaz says: “Back in highschool I used to spend my time alone during the breaks so I could write songs and just be. I did the same at home, but nobody understood, and when questioned why I’d just say “I’m just up to something””. -HM
